Disclaimer

Effective date: September 30, 2026

ATLGBTQ is a platform that connects creators with the people who enjoy their work. Through our website at https://www.atlgbtq.com and the ATLGBTQ mobile app, we list events, Hubs, organizations, talent, sponsors, vendors, and community members so the community can discover them. This disclaimer explains, plainly and in full, what that does and does not mean. It applies to everything we list, and it is part of our Terms and Conditions.

1. Our role

We are a listing and discovery platform. We share information so people can find events and the creators behind them. We do not create, organize, host, produce, manage, or operate the events we list.

2. No ownership, no operation, no affiliation

ATLGBTQ does not own, run, organize, operate, produce, manage, fund, or sponsor any event listed on our website or in our app, and we are not affiliated with any of them. Every event belongs to its own organizer.

This is true for every listing unless that listing says otherwise in plain words, as described in section 3.

3. When we are involved, we will say so

ATLGBTQ is connected to an event only when its listing expressly says so, for example “Presented by ATLGBTQ,” “Hosted by ATLGBTQ,” or “An ATLGBTQ event.” If a listing does not say that in clear words, we are not an organizer, host, producer, sponsor, or partner of that event, and nothing about the listing should be read that way.

4. No implication, suggestion, or inference

We do not intend, and nothing on ATLGBTQ should be read, to suggest, imply, or let anyone infer or assume that ATLGBTQ owns, runs, produces, organizes, sponsors, endorses, recommends, or is affiliated with any event, organization, person, brand, venue, sponsor, or vendor, unless we expressly say so. This applies to the way events are listed, grouped, ordered, featured, colored, labeled, or shown, including in Hubs, on the Home screen, in Coming Up and Happening now, and in Featured sections.

In particular, the appearance of any name, logo, image, photo, brand, or Hub on ATLGBTQ does not mean that:

  • ATLGBTQ owns, runs, produces, or organizes it;
  • ATLGBTQ is affiliated, partnered, or associated with it, or has any agreement with it, other than permission to display it;
  • ATLGBTQ sponsors, endorses, recommends, or vouches for it, its safety, or its quality; or
  • the event, its organizer, or anyone connected to it speaks for, represents, or acts on behalf of ATLGBTQ, or that ATLGBTQ speaks for or represents them.

5. No partnership or agency

Listing an event does not create a partnership, joint venture, agency, employment, franchise, or any other relationship between ATLGBTQ and an organizer, performer, sponsor, vendor, venue, or any other person or business. Nobody listed on ATLGBTQ is our employee, agent, or representative, and we are not theirs.

6. Hubs are only a way to group events

A Hub groups events, such as a Pride weekend or a festival, so they are easier to find. A Hub does not mean that ATLGBTQ runs, owns, or endorses the Hub or the events in it. A Hub may be named after, or organized around, a period of time, a theme, or a community, and that does not suggest any affiliation with us.

7. Names, logos, and images belong to their owners

All names, logos, trademarks, images, photographs, and other content shown for an event, organization, person, sponsor, or vendor belong to their respective owners. They appear on ATLGBTQ because the organizer or owner provided them, or gave us permission to use them, in order to promote their event or work. Their appearance does not suggest that the owner endorses ATLGBTQ, or that we have any ownership of or rights to them beyond that permission.

8. Information comes from organizers

Event details, including dates, times, places, lineups, descriptions, prices, ticket links, and age limits, are provided by organizers or other third parties. They can change, be incomplete, or be wrong, and we do not guarantee that they are accurate, current, or complete. Please confirm everything with the organizer before you travel, buy a ticket, or make plans.

9. Tickets, payments, and refunds are handled by organizers

Unless a listing expressly says that ATLGBTQ is selling the ticket or product, tickets, entry, registration, payments, cancellations, changes, and refunds are handled by the organizer, venue, or ticketing service shown, under their own terms. ATLGBTQ is not a party to those transactions and is not responsible for them.

10. Safety, accessibility, and conduct at events

We do not supervise, inspect, license, or approve events or venues, and we do not guarantee that any event will take place, be safe, be accessible, be accurately described, or meet your expectations. Organizers and venues are responsible for their events, including safety, security, accessibility, insurance, permits, age restrictions, and the conduct of their staff, performers, vendors, and guests. You attend events at your own choice and risk.

11. Talent, sponsors, vendors, and community members

People and businesses shown on ATLGBTQ, including talent, speakers, sponsors, vendors, organizations, and community members, are independent. Their views, statements, products, services, and conduct are their own and are not ours. A person or business appearing on ATLGBTQ does not mean that they have been reviewed, selected, endorsed, or approved by us, or that they agree with or speak for us.

12. Links to other websites

Our website and app link to websites and services we do not control, including those of organizers, sponsors, vendors, social media, maps, and email. We do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

13. No warranty, no reliance

ATLGBTQ is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promise about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the listings, and you should not rely on a listing as a promise, recommendation, or guarantee by ATLGBTQ. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss, injury, cost, or damage connected with an event or with anyone connected to an event. See our Terms and Conditions for the full limits on our liability.

14. Our goal

Our goal is simple: to be a platform that connects creators with the people who enjoy their work. We have no intention of appearing to promote, run, or stand behind events that we are not part of, and we work to make that clear wherever events are shown.

15. If something looks wrong

If anything on ATLGBTQ looks as though we own, run, sponsor, or endorse an event that we do not, or if you want a listing, name, logo, or image corrected, clarified, or removed, please email support@atlgbtq.com with what it is, where you see it, and how to reach you. We will review your request promptly and fix it. Organizers who want a listing changed can write to us at the same address. For how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using ATLGBTQ after a change, you accept the updated disclaimer.
